One-Level-Only Er.: Platformer without Platform
It is my second time publishing a game. Please enjoy the game and leaving a comment down would be greatly appreciated.
W for jump, AD for left right, R for re-spawn, Get to the yellow block for Win.
Now schools are suspended so we had to learn online. I could only spare ~8 hours to make this game. However I don't want to give up making games. Please give me some supports. ToT
BTW all arts(using Pixilart) and music(using BeepBox) is originally made by me. ^^

cool game
great game! very cool idea.btw i have a question.
what did you use to make this game?
The game engine i used is Unity
programming language is c#
I'd like it if the map was actually tile-based. When you climb up on the right, if you miss a jump and don't press any controller inputs, you will still die to the red, even though it's at (seemingly) the same level as the black. This caused me to die, like a lot.
It's such a fun idea!Did you programme the game with C# or with a visual language?
Btw, if you like making games, dun give up on that!I lived and studied University in HK.Every one in HK told me that doing creative things can't earn money, study and get into Uni is the only way. After that many years, I finally realised that I'm interested in game making and I'm now spending all my saving to study master of animation, games and interactivity at RMIT in Australia lol
Dun live a life the others expect you to live, just insist on what you really enjoy and like!I know the life in HK is tough and all the people in HK only care about whether they can earn a lot of money(which sucks). The world is so big, you dun need to stay in a place which the norm is nonsense. You can dream big and escape from that place.
Thank you so much. That really cheer me up. I just work so hard on my secondary school study these few weeks and i just leave making games aside for quite a long time.(and thats also why i just read your post this late) It's encouraging for me to know someone who can work their dream out. Sadly I have to get back on my homework and learning for now as there are tons of work to do(I'm form 5 and everything really is quite tough for me). However i would never give up on my dream. Thank you for your encouragement. ^_^ May God bless you on your study in Australia and everything you are working on.
(And I make games using Unity and program with C#, C# is kinda simple compared to other language so i like it<3)
and so when do you want me to start on the art note I use piskel
Hi I like the idea but can we work together on a platformer that you collected ingredients to make food like for example the first level would be at the wheat fields and you would collect wheat and then the next level is used with a left click right click left click combo to grind the flour then you go to the next part to help do the quest given to you so I want to work together with you because I never coded with unity so I could get the sprites and the ideas and I would make the plans like say someone wants a pizza you need the first world to get the dough the third world to get the milk/cheese so you need the fifth world for the vegetables and the enemies could give quests if the chef doesn't want his food to be messed with by them for example messing with the cooking of other recipes if you don't try to make the food that they want and these enemies could be the food bandits so simontheliquid like the request if you accept my request I shall help with the worlds the enemy designs how the worlds look and the food note this would be 16 bit
Sincerely Warpedmine
Sorry for not seeing this until now. T_T
The online classes and assignments I'm working on right now is quite a lot so I am busy these few days and did't check it.
As I said I'm quite busy these few days, so I'm not quite convenient to work on a game right now. However I'm really happy for your invitation and interested on your idea.
So if it's convenient for you, we may talk about it soon or later.
Let me know if you want to talk about it via Discord/email or anything.
Sincerely SimonTheLiquid :D
